Princess Diana’s “Revenge Dress” | Bespoke Display Form

It was honour for Universal Display to play a small part in presenting one of the most recognisable dresses in modern fashion history.

Working with Sotheby’s, we created a bespoke display form specifically developed to showcase Princess Diana’s iconic “Revenge Dress”, designed by Christina Stambolian and famously worn in 1994.

With such an important piece, the challenge was to create a form that supports and presents the dress while allowing its extraordinary silhouette, draping and movement to take centre stage.

A project where the display needed to be almost invisible — letting the craftsmanship, history and significance of the dress speak for itself.
