Anthony Lombardi
Anthony went to fashion design school in New York City upon graduating from high school. His plans were to become a clothing designer. His dream quickly turned out to be just that, when he started working at B. Altman's & Co. That is where his visual merchandising career began. From B. Altman's & Co., he went to Saks Fifth Avenue to work for Robert Benzio. Whom he learned much of what he knows and applies to his work, to this day. Forever looking to climb the ladder, Anthony was hired at Barneys New York and worked with Simon Doonan. Again, he learned more and more about fashion, visual merchandising, and design. For much of his career, Anthony was responsible for many of the mannequin and form choices. He worked with many sculptors and mannequin houses, in order to achieve a custom look which was right for the store he was working in. It seemed inevitable that one day he would have the position he now enjoys at Universal Display & Design.
